This discussion board is to be used only for communications between the client and creative artist as it relates to the "Business Helping Business logo" project. Any promotion or explanation of your work or skills must be in the details section of the submission. All statements that are seen as non-constructive and don't add to the quality of the RFB will be removed.

I tried to submit again the design that appeared with changed colour on your site, but it is the same thing...hope you are checking the whole file I submitted, not only thumbnail, because I uploaded the psd version of it and the ai.file as well and there the colours should be right..

Drew... I'm concerned that only my thumbnail was submitted. I submitted a full logo, and a thumbnail, as an extremely cropped version of the logo. Is it too late to check if the FULL logo was submitted to the client?

I had originally submitted some text with my design. I'm glad the design made it--ultimately it has to stand alone--but wish there was some way to forward my extra reasonings. No matter; thanks for this site and the wonderful opportunitities you open for us out here.

@Petefletch85- The client has 2 weeks to make a selection. We typically know sooner than that though. As soon as we know, we contact the selected creator via e-mail immediately & once we have received a reply from the creator we make an announcement to the community via our blog. Thanks & Good Luck!

you have to upload a jpg for preview... and i was uploading a pdf.

@Irrestricto- It sounds as though when you first came to the site you created a client account. Logout, and you'll see options to sign up as a client or creator...you want to create a creator account.

Hi, how can i upload my logo, when i click the submit tab, it tells me that it is only open to creators, not clients, so how can ni do it??

@ lines- The cropping is only in your thumbnail/preview. The client can see the full version by clicking on the logo. They'll also receive a DVD with all of their submissions (which will have the full, uncropped, logo).

I have submitted my logo desgins but when i watched them, each submitted photo is cropped and this ruins them...is this just a preview malfunction and the client will see them properly, as were designed? Or not ? what should i do ?

@Sharon- The winner will be announced within 2 weeks of the close of the RFB (likely MUCH sooner). We contact the selected creator via e-mail and then announce to the community via our blog.
@Meanibeanie- You may, & are encouraged to, submit as many designs as you like. If they are color/font variations it is best to keep them on a single submission, but for new designs submit separately.
@Moon- JPG is acceptable, for the winner it would be best if the logo could be provided in EPS or Ai for ease of use for client.

@Jinat Jahan- There isn't currently a "Watch & Vote" section. Voting was an option for clients to utilize on the previous version (but was never utilized by a client as their selection method). As of right now submissions will become viewable to all visitors at the conclusion of the RFB. We are currently deciding how we want to handle viewing going into the future. Thanks!

@Ivallone- .pdf is acceptable, Ai and EPS are easier to manipulate if you are selected.

Lauren- We'll look into it, if you "Watch" a project it should show up on your launchpad and provide you with information. This should happen automatically when you submit, so I'll find out why it's not. Thanks!

Hello! I just submitted 3 logo designs for Business Helping Business but when I checked my launch pad projects status, it said I am not currently participating in any projects. I want to make sure my submissions will be received on time. Can someone confirm that they are indeed submitted properly? Thanks!!

@apollotan100... Ignore the size specifications...that field gives the client the option to indicate a size. If they don't specify a size it defaults to 0x0. If it isn't letting you submit it is likely an unaccepted file type (there aren't many we don't accept so try another type and it should go through just fine...no .PDFs) Thanks! Drew

System fix?
What do you mean upload the file with the size of 0 inch x 0 inch? Does it mean less than 1 inch x 1 inch? I couldn't upload the image, I was wondering if the system is fixed? Thanks.

Posting Issues Gang...sorry that there have been complications, I've made notes and will work with my tech team to resolve these issues. The truth is that I, and our tech lead, have been out of the office much of the week and will be back full force monday (well before the end of either RFB). If you already have your submissions ready then it will only take you a moment to submit once we have any problems resolved. Thanks for your patience, and please know that these issues will no longer be such an issue with our new site...which is days, not weeks, away!! Drew

Graphic RFB's
Anyone else have problems viewing graphic/logo rfb entries on Internet Explorer? I always get a pop-up error and then the page goes blank(error screen). Now I'm on Firefox and it's working fine though...?

3 times I've tried with my "Business helping Business"entry.It would be helpful if the process of uploading was simplified somewhat.
My Verdant Key entry was uploaded yesterday no drama....but today its playing silly buggers LOL

To Submit: Click the big "Launch It! Begin Here. Create for this Brief" Button. You will then form a working group. There is a "Submit" button on your group page. Drew

@ j25vargas The client has NO preconceived notions about their logo, and is open to anything you come up with. Remember there are no limits on how many you submit, so feel free to submit simple, complex, artsy, techy...whatever! Thanks! Drew
